One of the cultural excursions for the residency was a dinner cruise on the Seine River, which runs through Paris and gave us a unique vantage point from which to see Paris. Although we had seen some areas from the double-decker bus tour (a hop-on, hop-off tour is a great way to get a quick overview of a city!), the dinner cruise was great idea.

Some sights below include the Notre Dame behind some buildings on the Seine, several ministry buildings adjacent to bridges, the Eiffel Tour, and the (much smaller) Statue of Liberty at the Pont de Grenelle. Quite an enjoyable experience!
