When I first started this blog, I was interested in sharing my journey with friends and family. Over time, I've had many viewers beyond my original circle of intention, and I am thankful that I can share my adventures with new people. I've met some amazing travelers through this blog!
There's real power in realizing that you are not the only person who has considered a hard task. Becoming an expat is hard, hard work. Regardless of your preparation, actually living in another country is an adventure, which usually involves about 50% excitement and 50% sheer terror (and another 25% confusion). For me, the good experiences far outweigh the negative ones.
So that's what this blog is, in a nutshell. I want to share my experiences, focus on the exciting opportunities that have emerged, and continue to emerge, while I live here in Valencia. My goal is to post weekly. Here are some of the topics I will cover on this blog site:

- Travel experiences in Valencia and other places
- Expat experiences that might be useful for other expats (or future expats)
- Candid experiences as a North American in Spain
